Course Content

Our one-day Frontline Leadership course will cover everything you need to know about being a ground floor leader, from team organisation to problem solving and decision making.

The course will cover basics of  frontline management, including:

  • The attributes common to effective leaders
  • Contextual factors that impact businesses and managers

Once you have an understanding of these core concepts, this course will investigate the specific actions to effectively lead on the frontline:

  • The web of interdependencies in organisations
  • How to create clear vision for your team
  • Demonstrating organisational values
  • Analysing the capabilities of individual team members and assigning work appropriately

The final section of the course will examine methods to develop professionally, such as:

  • Setting goals, both individually and for the team
  • Effective performance reviews
  • The value of preventing problems over solving them
  • Methods of coaching
  • Managing internal conflict

Our Frontline Leadership short course is set in interactive classrooms at one of our five campuses across Australia: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, and Adelaide.
